The ELCT-North Eastern Diocese who are one of the UEM members are delightful to express our deep affinity with UEM as we celebrate 25th anniversary (1996-2021). United Evangelical Mission is us not them. ELCT-NED is proud to be part of this esteemed achievement in Mission together. We live the testimony of success stories through five pillars of UEM, namely Diaconia, Development, Partnership, Advocacy and Evangelism. This quarter a century period of UEM has touched thousands in our Diocese and the community around us. Many have been reached through scholarships, exchange programmes among us, expatriates exchange and donations to our various institutions have an indelible imprint to us. During these years we have learnt from each other through programmes and conferences organized and funded by UEM. We have lived practically our Christian fraternity around three continents.
We specially extend our appreciation to those who have worked with our offices from our member churches during these 25 years. It is our hope that we are going to walk together during our next 25 years and beyond. Let us spend the coming years together by turning our challenges into future opportunities for more avenues of witnessing Christ together bilaterally and multilaterally. Let us continue on standing firmly together by beholding together our LORD Jesus Christ as our Chief Corner Stone for furtherance of His Mission.
