On 17th December 2017, they were saying goodbye to friends of NED-ELCT. Katharina, Catharina and Ellis, they have been volunteering at Irente Children's home, Irente Rainbow school and Irente School for the blind for four months.

Maasai Women Economic Empowerment

Increasing Household income for Maasai Women livestock Pastoralists in Maili Nane community in Duga Maforoni Tanga.
The project which has been initiated by the department of Gender and Children in the North Eastern Diocese aims at supporting income generating activities such as indigenous poultry farming and Bead making, to enhance pastoralist woman’s self-esteem and strengthen their social –economic position both within the household and in the community.

Irente Rainbow School Celebrating 10 Years of Achievement

The unveiling of a colorful mural marked the 10th anniversary Irente Rainbow School owned by North Eastern Diocese (NED) on 18th January 2015. The celebration graced by Lushoto District Commissioner (DC) Ms Mariamu Juma, she congratulates the founders for vision to help disabled.
